Visual Principals Step #2

Visual Principals Step #2:  Each of the 3 compositions explained individually below.

This is 1 of 3 compositions for Part 2 of the Visual Principals project.  For this one I chose "Dynamic".  I sketched this out first, then recreated it in Illustrator.  I really like the way this one came out.  I was hoping to do something that shows some dimension and depth, and I think it does.
Explosive is what I chose for #2 of 3.  The whole composition is made up of lines, although many parts look like triangles.  The lines vary in width to create some emphasis on certain parts of it to make it look more like it's moving like something that just exploded.  I thought that helped and made more sense, the  draft I made before this didn't look as 'active' and didn't really work as well.  I tried flipping the black and white parts to see which way worked better, and this is what stood out to me more.

This is composition #3 (of 3) for the Visual Principals Part 2 assignment.  This time I chose Focus.  To me, the arrow coming from the left and hitting the bullseye on the right side directs your eyes to the center of the target.  I originally thought of making it look like an eye was looking towards the target, and have the arrow showing the path of the eyesight.  That seemed a bit tough and would have been a bit more distracting.
